NL Emergency Medicine and Critical care is an open access Bi-monthly Journal, aiming to improve the care of patients with emergency and critical illness by acquiring, discussing, distributing, and promoting evidence-based information relevant to emergency physicians and intensivists. Specific areas of interest include, but not limited to trauma, anaesthesiology, respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiovascular disease, healthcare-associated infections prevention, end-of-life care and etc.

Journal is Characterized by a devoted staff of expert Editors, a fair and Thorough peer-review procedure, high standards of copy-editing and production, timely publishing and editorial independence.
