NL Journal of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, is an open access Bi-monthly journal. Its goal is to publish the most recent advances in clinical microbiology as well as the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. Microorganisms are the focus of microbiology, and Infectious Diseases are conditions induced by organisms. The journal is concerned with all aspects of microorganisms, including their evolution, physiology, and cell biology; their interactions with one another, with a host, or with the environment; and their societal significance.

Journal is characterized by a devoted staff of expert editors, a fair and thorough peer-review procedure, high standards of copy-editing and production, timely publishing, and editorial independence. In addition to original research and clinical cases, the Journal will publish Commentaries, Reviews, News and Views, Features, and Correspondence from across the entire spectrum of microbiology and infectious diseases-related fields.
