As an Animal Scientist, I am interested in exploring nutritional strategies for improving animal production and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from ruminant livestock. I completed a Higher Degree By Research (HDR; Master of Philosophy in Animal Science) from the University of Queensland, Australia, where I investigated the effects of fresh microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris) as a feed supplement for improving sheep performance, carcass characteristics and meat quality. Additionally, I have obtained an International Diploma in Animal Feed from Aeres Training Centre International in Barneveld, the Netherlands. Furthermore, I hold a Master's degree in Animal Science from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria, where I conducted a research project to investigate the effects of soy milk as a substitute for cow's milk in dairy calf nutrition. Moreso, I have completed a Bachelor of Agriculture degree at the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria, where I developed and tested a novel feed supplement for ruminants based on Multi-Nutrient Blocks (MNB).
